Our Psychodynamics & Consciousness Studies course is a home study course designed for anyone interested in energy therapy and its unique approach to healing. Beginners welcome!
This Specialist Certificate course covers a wide spectrum of the healing dynamics of the mind and consciousness, with a strong focus on Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). This convenient home study course will provide you with a strong understanding of psychodynamic energy and its relationship with chakra systems of the body and meridians. Students will also gain an understanding of the foundations of EFT theory and application for a myriad of health and wellness issues, including stress, pain management, and addiction.
Also included in this course is an exploration of psychodynamic and psychsomatic forces that were once known as "magnetism" from a modern, holistic perspective. Here, the whole idea of magnetism becomes more comprehensible as an energetic concept roughly equivalent to the idea of qi or prana in Eastern holistic traditions (e.g. Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Ayurveda, Yoga, Tantra, etc.). It then further examines the concept of psychodynamic energy, as well as the causes of depleted psychodynamic energy in the context of mental illness. It considers mental disorders from a practitioner perspective, discussing their classification in the clinical setting.
This course concludes by examining contemporary scientific, philosophical, and psychological understandings of consciousness, before turning to the fields of sleep, dreaming, meditation, and parapsychology, in order to understand the deeper spectrum of consciousness. Please note: This part of the course forms part of the Advanced Hypnotherapy Practitioner Program. If you are studying, or planning to study, our Advanced Hypnotherapy Practitioner course, please inform staff so that any relevant Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be applied.
